Quiet Intelligence

Accelerated scanning combined with AI to increase SNR1 — the solution to prioritize throughput

Fast scanning techniques like Compressed SPEEDER and Fast 3D mode are essential to increase throughput but can be at the expense of SNR. Canon’s AI boosted Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) helps you solve that challenge by removing noise from images and increasing SNR1.

1 AiCE provides higher SNR compared to typical low pass filters.

Prioritize workflow and organizational efficiency with the Application for Tablet UX

Application for Tablet UX allows remote preparation of studies and monitoring of examination process, enabling you to optimize your workflow.

Optimize efficiency with Ceiling Camera and Intelligent Monitor

Our Ceiling Camera solution transmits key information to be displayed on the Intelligent Monitor, confirms coil set-up and assists patient positioning.

The Intelligent Monitor installed in the gantry displays the bird's-eye view captured by the Ceiling Camera. This assists in setting the optimal scan position without relying on the patient to move around.

Compressed SPEEDER accelerated scanning in 2D and 3D

Compressed SPEEDER1 application maintains excellent imaging performance as it either enables shorter scan times
or higher resolution in 2D and 3D sequences.

1 Compressed SPEEDER is covered by the following U.S. Patent number: 7,646,924.

Compressed SPEEDER: 3:14, MPR image

Intelligent technology to advance productivity

Reducing scan time improves the patient experience and increases throughput. With intelligent technology that advances our rapid scan technology, Vantage Galan 3T delivers productivity that goes beyond expectations.

Accelerated Diffusion Weighted Imaging with MultiBand SPEEDER

MultiBand SPEEDER acquires multiple slices simultaneously, which enables reduced scan times. DWI scans in particular can be acquired in about half the time compared to previous sequences.

Higher temporal resolution and fewer breath holds with k-t SPEEDER

k-t SPEEDER provides up to 8x acceleration, enabling you to acquire high temporal resolution cardiac cine. The high acceleration factor can also reduce breath hold times so your patients can be scanned more comfortably.

k-t SPEEDER: 7 seconds breath hold with 48 cardiac phases

Reduce scans with
Water Fat Separation

The technology based on FSE2D achieves consistent fat suppression and homogeneity while acquiring four different tissue contrasts in one scan, reducing the total number of scans you need to acquire.

Enhanced scan planning with ForeSee View

ForeSee View is an essential scan planning tool designed to allow you to preview your slice planning in real time. This tool is particularly useful in anatomies that can be difficult to plan such as the pancreas, the heart, and certain orthopedic joints, reducing the need for re-scanning and saving time on scan planning for all body regions.

ForeSee View’s excellent new feature reduces the need for re-scanning and saves time on scan planning for all body regions.

Easy to Clean Surfaces

As procedure numbers increase so does the time required for cleaning. Easy to clean surfaces and reduced system touch points help you simplify the cleaning process. With easy to clean and comfortable pads for the patient and hands-free table operation you have a modern system. In addition, the convenient utility paper holder makes it quick and easy to change the paper on the table between patients.

Total cost of ownership a smart investment choice

Every inch on Vantage Galan 3T has been considered for efficient use of space while minimizing energy consumption. The system’s zero boil-off magnet can often fit into the same space as a 1.5T system, while simultaneously providing a comfortable, open environment for your patients.

Minimize energy use in a compact space

Vantage Galan 3T’s power-saving ECO Mode is automatically triggered when you lower the patient couch to help you minimize your running costs. At only 70 kVA1 Vantage Galan 3T has one of the lowest rated power requirement in its class.

Save space

Small size, big performance. The system’s short, compact, and wide aperture bore minimizes patient anxiety and at the same time allows a 3T scanner to be installed in a room originally designed to hold a 1.5T system. The eco-friendly cabinet design simplifies and shortens installation time.

2 The 5 Gauss line is not confined within the Scan Room. Controlled access area should be taken into account by the facility when preparing for installation. The above specifications may not meet the local requirements such as for access as is required by the Americans with Disabilities Act in the United States. Please consult with your architectural and/or electric consultant for coding requirements. Some power equipment may be required to be placed in a dedicated electrical room.
