Canon's Onsite Training

Covering all aspects of learning to help you achieve competency at all levels.


Technologist training is conducted in three phases, beginning with Phase I, a one week comprehensive course at Canon Academy. Phases II and III are conducted at the customer's facility. Canon's onsite accredited training program, conducted by Application Specialists, provides in-depth information and experience in all phases of high quality imaging, allowing your staff to use the system to its fullest potential.

CT Onsite Training

Increasing Proficiency and Productivity

CT Onsite Training session is conducted by a Canon Clinical Applications Specialist at the customer's facility. The focus is to apply what was taught at the Learning Institute in the actual environment immediately prior to system turnover.

Phase II

  • A 32-hour or 64-hour training session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Technologists who attend the training at the Canon Academy must attend the week of onsite training.
  • Training is provided for up to four technologists

Phase III

  • A 32-hour onsite follow-up session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Approximately six to eight weeks after Phase II training

MR Onsite Training

MR Onsite Training session is conducted by a Canon Clinical Applications Specialist at the customer's facility. The focus is to apply what was taught at the Learning Institute in the actual environment immediately prior to system turnover.

Phase II

  • A 32-hour onsite training session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Technologists who attend the training at the Canon Academy must attend the week of onsite training.
  • Training is provided for up to three technologists

Phase III

  • A 32-hour onsite follow-up session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Approximately four to five weeks after Phase II training

Vascular/Cath Onsite Training

Vascular/Cath Onsite Training session is conducted by a Canon Clinical Applications Specialist at the customer's facility. The focus is to apply what was taught at the Learning Institute in the actual environment immediately prior to system turnover.

Phase II

  • A 32-hour onsite training session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Technologists who attend the training at the Canon Academy must attend the week of onsite training.
  • Training is provided for up to three technologists

Phase III

  • A 16-hour onsite follow-up session conducted by an Application Specialist
  • Approximately eight to ten weeks after Phase II training
