Infinix-i Dual Plane Minimizes Time Spent Away from Patients and Maximizes Safety and Throughput
TUSTIN, Calif., May 30, 2017 – For healthcare providers seeking versatile imaging technology for all angiography needs, Toshiba Medical, a Canon Group company, will demonstrate its InfinixTM-i Dual Plane at this year’s New Cardiovascular Horizons (NCVH) 2017 annual meeting in New Orleans, La., May 31–June 2, 2017. The only system with two dedicated C-arms, the Infinix-i Dual Plane helps clinicians treat more patients cost-effectively with the ability to perform cardiac and peripheral procedures in the same room.
The Infinix-i Dual Plane angiography system offers unparalleled access, enabling clinicians to perform safer and more efficient exams. With two C-arms designed to carefully move around patients and clinicians, combined with flexible monitor positioning, clinicians are provided with enhanced ergonomics, important during interventional procedures like the radial approach. Toshiba Medical’s WorkRite technology maximizes workflow and throughput to provide clinicians with optimal ergonomic orientation during any procedure. The system also features comprehensive dose management tools such as the Dose Tracking System (DTS) and Spot Fluoroscopy, enabling providers to deliver safer exams for patients and staff.
“The Infinix-i Dual Plane is designed to offer healthcare providers a versatile solution for performing cardiac and vascular procedures in the same room,” said Satrajit Misra, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Development, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. “The system can do both without sacrificing image quality, dose management capabilities or time spent away from the patient.”
