Infinix-i Core + Maximizes Flexibility, Reduces Exposure and Improves Image Quality
TUSTIN, Calif., April 19, 2017 – Taking interventional cardiology and radiology to unprecedented levels of flexibility and patient access, Toshiba Medical will demonstrate its InfinixTM-i Core + at this year’s Emory Practical Intervention Course (EPIC-SEC) 2017 annual meeting in Atlanta, Ga., April 20–22, 2017. The 5-axis single-plane, floor-mounted system achieves optimal angulations and is designed to help clinicians improve clinical workflow and deliver high quality images.
The Infinix-i Core + system offers unparalleled access, enabling clinicians to perform safer and more efficient exams. With a C-arm designed to carefully move around patients and clinicians, coupled with flexible monitor positioning, clinicians are provided with enhanced ergonomics, important during interventional procedures especially done with the radial approach. Toshiba Medical’s WorkRite technology maximizes workflow and throughput to provide clinicians with optimal ergonomic orientation during any procedure. The system also features comprehensive dose management tools such as the Dose Tracking System (DTS) and Spot Fluoroscopy, enabling providers to deliver safer exams for patients and staff.
“Toshiba Medical has a legacy of delivering flexible solutions to meet our customers’ needs,” said Satrajit Misra, vice president, Marketing and Strategic Development, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. “The Infinix-i Core + builds on that tradition by providing the ultimate flexibility to clinicians, increasing their focus on patient needs while reducing exam times and dosage.”
