White Memorial Medical Center Delivers More Efficient Care with Toshiba’s Infinix-i

Infinix VF-i Single Plane Offers Greater Patient Access During Vascular X-ray Procedures

TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 9, 2013 – White Memorial Medical Center is now able to respond to the directives of healthcare reform, conducting faster and safer procedures, using Toshiba’s Infinix^TM VF-i single plane cardiovascular X-ray system. The 353-bed, not-for-profit hospital in East Los Angeles utilizes the system for a variety of interventional and general radiology procedures.

“Exams are easier to perform because the Infinix-i’s flexible C-arm provides our clinicians with better access to the patient,” said Tim Gustafson, director, Radiology, White Memorial Medical Center. “Throughout the installation and training process, Toshiba has been an excellent partner. Toshiba’s Infinix-i features flexible C-arm movement and the Access Halo, allowing for head-to-toe and fingertip-to-fingertip coverage with unrestricted 180-degree patient head-end access to perform exams with ease. When combined with Toshiba’s proprietary Next Generation AIP, the Infinix-i improves visualization, helping clinicians diagnose and treat patients with enhanced accuracy.
