Aplio 500, 300 and Viamo Showcased at Vascular Annual Meeting
SAN FRANCISCO, May 30, 2013 – Meeting the demands of changing patient needs, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will be showcasing the AplioTM 500, Aplio 300 and ViamoTM ultrasound systems at this year’s Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM), May 30 to June 1, 2013, in San Francisco (Booth #717).
Toshiba’s Aplio 500 offers picture-perfect imaging with advanced visualization features, including Fly Thru. An industry-first technology, Fly Thru gives a new perspective to 4D ultrasound by allowing clinicians to “fly through” interiors of ducts and vessels for better exploration of lesions and masses. The Aplio 300 offers exceptional image quality in a smaller, versatile platform for all routine ultrasound exams. Both systems come standard with advanced workflow tools and ergonomics, including the iStyleTM+ Productivity Suite.
The Viamo is the industry’s no-compromise laptop-sized ultrasound system. Delivering outstanding image quality and penetration from the patient’s bedside to an operating room, the Viamo is equipped with the performance of Toshiba’s larger, cart-based systems.
“Toshiba’s ultrasound systems are designed to offer exceptional image quality with superior ergonomics for improved patient care and clinical use,” said Tomohiro Hasegawa, director, Ultrasound Business Unit, Toshiba. “The Aplio 500 and 300 offer picture-perfect imaging, while the Viamo provides exceptional image quality in a versatile and portable platform.”
