TOSHIBA PARTNERSHIPS HELP FACILITIES MANAGE DOSE

Radimetrics Inc. Expands Toshiba’s Dose Management Software Tools and Phoenix Technology Corporation Adds to Toshiba’s Dose Management Consulting Services

 TUSTIN, Calif., Oct. 9, 2012 – Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. announces strategic partnerships with Radimetrics, Inc. and Phoenix Technology Corporation to enhance dose management capabilities and support Toshiba customers through American College of Radiology (ACR) accreditation.

Toshiba now offers Radimetrics eXposureTM software, which automatically captures and calculates patient radiation dose. eXposure integrates seamlessly with existing PACS/RIS/Imaging Modalities and is customizable to comply with patient safety and regulatory reporting requirements.

Phoenix Technology Corporation partners with Toshiba to provide Toshiba’s clients with turnkey physics solutions to the ACR accreditation process. Phoenix Technology Corporation’s physicists will aid Toshiba customers by assisting with the facilities’ quality assurance program, and provide the required physics testing and support required in order to obtain ACR accreditation.
