TOSHIBA’S AWARD-WINNING CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS KEY TO 14-LAB INSTALLATION AT GATES VASCULAR INSTITUTE

Toshiba Installs 14 Infinix-i Vascular X-Ray Systems at Kaleida Health’s New Gates Vascular Institute

TUSTIN, Calif., May 29, 2012 – When opening a new hospital or medical center, partnering with the right diagnostic imaging vendor with patient-focused technology and a trusted, responsive service and support team is critical to meet the tight deadlines of bringing a new facility online. As part of its new Gates Vascular Institute in Buffalo, NY, Kaleida Health selected Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. to install 14 Infinix™-i vascular X-ray systems, which will be used for all cardiovascular, neuro, vascular and electrophysiology (EP) procedures. Toshiba and Kaleida Health worked closely together to install all 14 systems within three months, ensuring the vascular labs were ready when the new facility’s doors opened.

The diversity and scope of the Infinix-i product line allows clinicians to perform vascular, cardiovascular and neuro procedures with ease. The systems have unique characteristics that provide superior patient access and coverage, along with high-resolution flat-panel detectors that deliver superior image quality. The overall design and friendly ergonomics allow clinical teams to move better around the patient, see better and ultimately work better during diagnostic and complex interventional procedures.
