TOSHIBA’S KALARE WIRELESS X-RAY INCREASES EFFICIENCY AND MAKES EXAMS EASIER FOR PATIENTS AND CLINICIANS

Toshiba Showcases Wireless 14” x 17” Panel and Rotating Bucky Tray for Kalare

CHICAGO, Nov. 29, 2011 – Designed to improve productivity and efficiency in today’s fast-paced healthcare environment, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. will showcase the KalareTM Wireless X-ray system at this year’s Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) annual meeting in Chicago, Nov. 27 – Dec. 2, 2011 (Booth #5634, South Hall). The Kalare Wireless includes the advanced technology from the original Kalare, plus a new wireless 14” x 17” panel with a rotating bucky tray designed for optimal flexibility.

The Kalare Wireless’ new features provide all-digital imaging while reducing flat panel detector handling, making exams faster and easier to perform. The rotating bucky tray quickly moves from portrait to landscape, reducing the need to lift and rotate the detector. With a 100 percent digital imaging solution, the need for conventional film and CR becomes completely eliminated, while rapid processing and instant access to digital images improve department workflow.
