TOSHIBA TO HOST ULTRASOUND AND MR EVENT FEATURING NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN MULTI-MODALITY BREAST IMAGING

WHAT:
In “New Technologies in Multi-Modality Breast Imaging,” three physicians will discuss their experience using MRI and ultrasound collaboratively for breast imaging, including how the two modalities can be used together, the latest techniques and how this multi-modality approach will ultimately provide better patient outcomes.

WHY:
As thousands of patients undergo breast exams each year, physicians and technicians continue to strive for the best approach to breast imaging. Since each modality offers different benefits and views of the breast, some imaging centers are taking a multi-modality approach to increase diagnostic confidence.

Leading physicians in the area of women’s health and breast imaging will address how a multi-modality approach in breast imaging can enhance diagnosis and improve patient comfort and care.
