Richards to Support Company’s Rapid Start in 2006
TUSTIN, Calif., July 25, 2006 – Further strengthening an already robust strategic and operational team, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. today announced that it has promoted industry veteran, Peter Richards, to vice president of business operations and member of the company’s executive team.
Prior to this appointment, Richards served as a zone sales manager in Toshiba’s Northwestern territory — a top-performing area for the company. In this role, Richards will manage Toshiba’s overall company operations, sales support and training, sales force automation, applications and logistical operations.
“In his new position, Peter Richards’ experience in the diagnostic imaging industry and in-depth clinical understanding will ensure Toshiba continues what already has been a strong start in 2006,” said Larry Dentice, general manager and senior vice president, Toshiba. “He maintains excellent relationships with Toshiba customers and provides great strategic insight.”
Before joining Toshiba in 2003, Richards held various sales management positions with Philips Medical Systems and Marconi Medical Systems.
