TUSTIN, Calif., Sept. 20, 2005 – Demonstrating its leadership and ongoing commitment to advancing the use of computed tomography (CT) technologies, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. (TAMS) announces its first-ever one-day seminar covering business practices for effective administration of cardiac CT in a clinic or office setting. The seminar will feature members of the faculty of Woodlands North Houston Heart Center, one of the country’s leading private cardiology practices, who will discuss a range of topics including the Stark Law, CPT codes, financials and billing, step-by-step tips on how to set up a CT department, as well as the impact of CT on other practice areas.

Lachterman, M.D., F.A.C.C. director of CT services, John Henderson, C.P.A., Vivianne Lubrano, R.N., Dana Hickman, C.M.C., Linda Cunningham, C.M.C., and Renate Crocker, R.T., of Woodlands North Houston Heart Center, a comprehensive facility offering the latest technological advances for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
