53-year-old female underwent head endovascular treatment. A follow-up head CTA was performed. The high attenuation material used for treatment causes extensive streak artifact. SEMAR, Single Energy Metal Artifact Reduction was applied to the scan. 3D Volume Rendered and Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR) demonstrate minimized artifact caused by the metallic implant. SEMAR provides better visualization of the soft tissue and vasculature surrounding it.

51-year-old female presented with neurological complaints. A dynamic 4D CTA DSA and whole brain perfusion was performed. The 4D CTA shows a blood flow interruption of the left middle cerebral artery (MCA). MTT and Delay Maps show abnormality. The TimeMIP demonstrates that there is collateral filling over time which is confirmed by CBF and CBV Maps.
