PINNACLEHEALTH EXPANDS MR IMAGING CAPABILITIES WITH TOSHIBA’S TITAN 3T

Enhanced Image Quality, Patient Comfort and Workflow

TUSTIN, Calif., Feb. 12, 2013 – To offer its patients the most advanced MR imaging, PinnacleHealth installed the Vantage TitanTM 3T from Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. PinnacleHealth utilizes the Titan 3T for all general imaging studies, such as abdomen, musculoskeletal and body imaging. It also conducts advanced neuro imaging, pre- and post-planning for CyberKnife procedures and will soon transfer its breast imaging to the system.

“Toshiba’s Titan 3T produces outstanding image quality and clear body imaging for accurate diagnoses,” said Ann Bair, MRI supervisor, PinnacleHealth. “The system’s M-Power interface is intuitive and enables our team to select the appropriate application for improved workflow.”

Designed with patients in mind, the Titan 3T reduces claustrophobia and exam anxiety with a large 71 cm bore, PianissimoTM noise-reduction technology and soothing lighting.

“As a long-term Toshiba MR partner, PinnacleHealth now provides its patients with an MR solution for virtually any need,” said Stuart Clarkson, director, MR Business Unit, Toshiba. “Titan 3T’s patient-friendly focus results in more comfortable patients, better image quality and faster exams.”

PinnacleHealth’s Titan 3T complements its suite of Toshiba MR systems, including two Titan 1.5Ts, two Vantage AtlasTM and a VantageTM MR system.
