Toshiba Sponsors Seminar Designed for Cardiologists
In collaboration with Toshiba, physicians from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine will host a five-hour course designed to help cardiologists understand and apply the latest advances in CT technology to their practices.
Toshiba America Medical Systems – an innovative leader in diagnostic imaging – markets, sells and services diagnostic imaging systems and coordinates clinical diagnostic imaging research for all modalities in the United States.
Toshiba is an exhibitor (Booth #3551) at the 2005 Annual Scientific Session sponsored by the American College of Cardiology, held at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, from March 6-9, 2005.
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has provided international leadership in the education of physicians and medical scientists since the opening of Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1889.
Recent studies have indicated that the new CT systems often offer superior results over traditional procedures in the cardiovascular work-up, especially in areas such as cost-effectiveness, patient comfort, sensitivity and specificity. This seminar is designed to help cardiologists understand the advantages, limitations, and practical considerations of cardiac CT.
The course will be hosted at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, 6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, Florida, 32821, on Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. Dinner will be served. This course is complimentary.
