Toshiba Sponsors Seminar Designed for Cardiologists

Who:
In collaboration with Toshiba, physicians from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine will host a five-hour course designed to help cardiologists understand and apply the latest advances in CT technology to their practices.

Toshiba America Medical Systems – an innovative leader in diagnostic imaging – markets, sells and services diagnostic imaging systems and coordinates clinical diagnostic imaging research for all modalities in the United States.

Toshiba is an exhibitor (Booth #3551) at the 2005 Annual Scientific Session sponsored by the American College of Cardiology, held at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, 9800 International Drive, from March 6-9, 2005.

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has provided international leadership in the education of physicians and medical scientists since the opening of Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1889.

What:
Recent studies have indicated that the new CT systems often offer superior results over traditional procedures in the cardiovascular work-up, especially in areas such as cost-effectiveness, patient comfort, sensitivity and specificity. This seminar is designed to help cardiologists understand the advantages, limitations, and practical considerations of cardiac CT.

When/Where:
The course will be hosted at the Renaissance Orlando Resort at SeaWorld, 6677 Sea Harbor Drive, Orlando, Florida, 32821, on Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. Dinner will be served. This course is complimentary.
